World Immunization Week, 24 to 30 April, we celebrate the ability to protect communities from preventable diseases. Thanks to Rotary’s leadership in global immunization efforts, more than 20 million people who might have been paralyzed by polio can walk today.

Since 1988, Rotary and our partners have reduced worldwide polio cases by more than 99.9%. Through The Rotary Foundation, our members continue to champion disease prevention by supporting vaccination programs that protect against polio, measles, and other life-threatening diseases.
