On Thursday evening, June 12, 2025, the Rotary Club of Weston and Wayland proudly joined forces with the Weston Community League and the Weston Boosters to celebrate local students who were awarded college scholarships. The annual Scholarship Awards Dinner, held at the Weston Golf Club, was an inspiring evening recognizing academic achievement, community service, and leadership.
Representatives from each of the three organizations were in attendance, sharing stories and presenting awards. The Weston Community League (WCL) was represented by Janika LeMaitre, Marla Luzzi, Susan Simi, and MaryAnn Riordan, while the Weston Boosters (WB) were represented by Melissa Galton and Jennifer Betty. Rotary Club members Paul Lauldi and Vera Dias presented the Weston High School awards and Cindi Bryant present the Wayland High School student awards
The Rotary Club, known for its commitment to service and youth development, honored seven outstanding high school seniors whose achievements reflect the Rotary motto: “Service Above Self.” These students were recognized not only for their academic excellence but also for their leadership, compassion, and community involvement.

The Rotary Club scholarships were awarded through the Hector J. Osmond Rotary Scholarship Program, which honors the legacy of Hector J. Osmond, a beloved community member known for his tireless dedication to others.
This year’s Rotary Club scholarship recipients were:
- Weston High School: Eldar Blazh, Lillian Fourreau, Belinda Lee, Shania Smith, and Meileen Trinh
- Wayland High School: Isabella Fuentes and Graham Henrich

The evening also included a touching tribute to the late Tony Micciche, whose legacy was honored with the Tony Micciche Memorial Scholarship, awarded to Belinda Lee. Tony’s wife, Karen, and daughters Laura and Erica were present for this heartfelt tribute.
In addition to the Rotary Club awards, scholarships were presented by the event’s partner organizations:
- Weston Boosters Scholarship Recipients: Darius Brewster and Ryan Kirmelewicz
- Weston Community League Scholarship Recipients: Inessa Berman, Siyang Ding, Belinda Lee, Ben Tavares, and Meileen Trinh

The Scholarship Awards Dinner is one of the most meaningful evenings of the year for all three organizations. It celebrates student achievement and the community’s shared commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders.

Congratulations to all of the 2025 scholarship recipients!
