This Thursday, we will celebrate more deserving, community service-oriented students selected to receive the Rotary Rising Youth Leadership Award (RYLA). Commu
nity members nominated the students and they have thoroughly impressed our committee with their community service, leadership, and drive to help, in various ways, in our community.
Ten of the recipients who have won the award this school year will be invited to apply to represent Wayland and Weston at the 2024 Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, a 2.5-day leadership conference at Fitchburg State University in late June. In years past, approximately 200 students and 200 volunteers have participated in this weekend's conference.
